More information about Gazelle Twin and London Contemporary Orchestra tickets

Gazelle Twin’s astonishing fourth album, Black Dog (Invada Records, 2023) was conceived from memories of her childhood home, and the nightmare of a looming presence within. Moving from delicate tenderness to doom-driven power, the songs of Black Dog are reworked by Gazelle Twin with Max de Wardender, for the London Contemporary Orchestra, conducted by Robert Ames. This is a special live event, exploring new depths of ghostly intensity.

As a unique bonus, attendees for the event will be able to see the new British Library exhibition, Medieval Women: in their own words, included in the event ticket. Arrive early to meet these women from another time, through rare manuscripts, letters and records.

The performance is also a curtain raiser for the British Library’s Tales of the Weird: An Autumnal Festival: a celebration of strange, uncanny and horror writing. The programme will be unveiled soon.

Doors open 19:30. On stage times to be announced later.

4+ only. 14s to 15s must be accompanied by an adult.
This is a standing event.
